RN - Cath Lab (Part Time)

Jefferson Memorial Hospital is searching for a RN to work in our Cath Lab Department.  Come join our family oriented culture.

The role is responsible for coordinating nursing care for the Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with policies and procedures of the nursing dept. Responsibilities include overseeing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning care/intervention, patient teaching, and family. Implementation of treatment in cardiology with physician, and nursing direction. The RN must communicate effectively and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. RN with current state license. Must have at least one year of clinical experience as a staff nurse in a comparable area.

Qualifications:

• Must have an unrestricted TN or Compact Nursing License
• 1 year clinical experience as a staff RN in a Cath Lab
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• Graduated from an accredited US Nursing School
• Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
