As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Gateway Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an associate's degree in physical therapy required
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card

About the Job:

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by a Physical Therapist and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care
• Provides physical therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; and works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork
• These functions are carried out according to hospital policy in accordance with the mission and vision of the hospital and consistent with the philosophy of the department
