Charge Capture Specialist

Responsible for reconciliation of patient charges to Charge Master system.

Responsibilities include:

• Chart maintenance
• Quality management review
• Assurance of proper billing for patients
• Collects and maintains statistics for the Surgical Services Department
• Keep Charge Master up to date with charge codes and price changes
• Enters all surgical charges daily for surgery patients
• Processes PO for surgical implants used in cases
• Payroll Timekeeper

High School diploma or equivalent. At least 2 year of previous experience required. Proficient with basic computer skills. Knowledge of regulations for billing and charge methodology preferred. Advanced skills with Microsoft computer applications preferred.
