Job Summary: Is responsible for managing the performance of laboratory procedures for all age groups from neonate through geriatric according to established hospital and department policies and procedures. Is responsible for managing financial, employee and interdepartmental relations.

Qualifications: 

Education:  Must have the education that is required to be certified or certification eligible as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or a specialist in a specialty field with one of the national registries associated with laboratory practice (ASCP or AMT).

 Experience: One or more years’ experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:  Must be certified or certification eligible as a medical technologist, medical laboratory scientist or specialist in a specialty field with one of the national registries associated with laboratory practice (ASCP or AMT).
