Medical Lab Technician
Part-time, 6 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday

Requirements:

• Meets CLIA requirements for position
• An Associate’s degree from an accredited college required, or have previously qualified as a technologist under DHHS/CLIA guidelines.
• Laboratory training through an accredited laboratory school is preferred.
• One to two years experience is preferred.
• Certified or eligible for certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP) or MLT (AMT) preferred.

About the Job:

• Performs manual and automated routine/STAT blood tests. 
• Prepares specimens for microscope examination.
• Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
• Reports to the director.
