Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Education, the Clinical Educator is a Registered Nurse who provides educational support to enhance the knowledge and skills of clinical professionals. Plans, develops, and coordinates activities associated with general and clinical orientation in order to meet regulatory and compliance requirements of TJC, OSHA, CMS, and AHCA, in addition to ongoing education for NOMC team members. In collaboration with department directors, plans, develops, designs, and implements orientation/education programs and competency assessments for clinical departments based on needs assessment, organizational requests, regulatory requirements, quality improvement, new technology, and other factors as needed. Serves as a liaison between NOMC and schools to coordinate clinical rotation programs/schedules.
Responsible for administrative support functions within the department, including filing and file maintenance, running reports, tracking certifications & education, ALC e-learning administrator, general & clinical orientation prep, processing and clearing students who rotate throughout the facility, and other duties as assigned.
