Job Description

Northwest Medical Center - Springdale has an opening for a Full Time Medical Lab Tech Lead!

Emphasis Point of Care ;  Tuesday-Friday 10 hour shifts

$5000 SIGN ON BONUS

The Medical Technologist must promote good public relations for the department and Northwest  Medical Center while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. Medical Technologists are responsible for:

  • Experience with training non laboratory personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
  • Develops Quality Control Plan.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Reports to the Laboratory Director.
  • Requires graduation from an accredited MT/MLT program 
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Education / License / Certification:
  • Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science required
  • 2 experience in field or related area
  • ASCP preferred
Experience / Skills:
  • Able to meet sensory requirements of the job.
  • Capable of performing all laboratory tests and related calculations.
  • Able to participate in laboratory Quality Assurance Program
  • Attention to detail and concentration
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
