Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting? If so, consider joining our team as a Clinical Pharmacist – Clinical Coordinator and Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist. This dual role will provide part-time services at the Northwest Medical Center Springdale campus.
The Clinical Pharmacist coordinates and monitors pharmaceutical care services and possesses strong communication skills. The individual ensures safe practices of pharmacy operations, including review and interpretation of medication orders and patient records to determine appropriate therapy. The Clinical pharmacist precepts pharmacy students and provides education to pharmacy staff and providers.

The role includes collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and collaboration with the informatics teams. This pharmacist may also oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians other pharmacist duties at the request of the pharmacy director.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacist experience in a hospital setting.
Active pharmacist license in Arkansas in good standing. (required upon hire)
Completion of an ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Residency and/or Board of Pharmacy Specialty Certification. (preferred)
