Shift: Day Shift, Monday, Thursday, Friday 10a-830p & every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) 8a-6:30p

As a Radiology Tech at North Knoxville Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC.
• Associate's degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. 
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

About the Job:

• Arranges patients for radiological examinations. Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.

North Knoxville Medical Center, an 116-bed acute care hospital (expanding in 2024), was the first outpatient hospital campus in the Powell, Tennessee area for cancer care, imaging and women’s services.

A 15-minute drive to Knoxville, Powell, Tennessee is a place where history meets modern-day convenience. Gorgeous homes can be found along Emory Road and the unique neighborhoods of Powell.
