Job Description

This is a full time General Maintenance Mechanic position working at Northwest Medical Center.


This mechanic would work with the Director of Facilities and Facility Manager to perform our Life Safety compliance. Their responsibility would be to inspect rated doors, eye washes, fire pump, and fire extinguishers. This mechanic would also assist another General Maintenance Mechanic on the shift, as needed. This mechanic will be the first responder for all Plant Operations urgent calls during the shift when working alone. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus. Note – this job will include a lot of walking for inspection purposes.

Work hours are Sunday – Thursday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate. This position would also be part of the rotating on-call roster.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Experience: Required: Two (2) years building maintenance of structures.
Preferred: Experience with handling site security

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Valid Arizona Driver's License.
