LKMC is also proud to be the only hospital in the Florida Keys that offers labor and delivery services. We also offer physical therapy in Key West using a multi-joint strength system, in addition to other innovative systems and equipment for customized rehabilitation.

What Does a Monitor Technologist Do?  As a Monitor Tech with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will be responsible for…

• Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.
• Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in a heartbeat.
• Ensures that monitors are functioning properly.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
