Sup Admissions

Supervises inpatient/outpatient admissions including bed assignments and completion of preliminary paperwork. Confirms that all insurance benefits coverage meets standards of admission as dictated by hospital policy. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager. High School diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of patient access experience or related field preferred. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
