Key responsibilities include:

Assists in planning, organizing, staffing and evaluation in all areas of Radiology. Leads in areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies.  Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans.  Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services. Oversees and adheres to Federal, State and JCAHO regulations. Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies. Assists the radiologists with reports as needed. Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures.  Typically reports to a Manager or Director of Radiology.

Key qualifications for this role include:

Degree in radiology science. ARRT registry required.  ARRT registry in CT, MRI, and/or Cardiovascular preferred.  1-3 years’ experience in the Radiology field required. Prefer previous supervisory experience.
