Pharmacy Tech II Certified - Medication Reconciliation (FT)

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Certified Medication Reconciliation Technician obtains patient medication histories by interviewing patients, reviewing their medical record, and contacting pharmacies and/or physicians.  The technician will also verify patient allergies to ensure complete information.  Once the accurate data is collected, the technician enters the information into the electronic health record for all caregivers to view.  

This individual must posess interpersonal and communcation skills.  This is required to interact with patients, caregivers, coworkers, and other health professionals.  Work prioritization and problem solving are also required for this role.  

Qualifications:

Minimum age 18. 

High school diploma or equivalent. 

Minimum two year pharmacy technician experience. 

PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification required.

Active technician license in Arkansas in good standing. (required upon hire)
