Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist, at Merit Health Madison, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is required.
  • A credential of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • A Respiratory Therapist License issued by the state of Mississippi.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are a requirement. (NRP and PALS within 90 days of hire.)
  • Experience in Ventilators, High Flow O2 and BiPaps is a must.
  • Cerner charting experience is a plus.

  • Must possess a positive attitude and good time management skills. 

About the Job: 

  • We are looking for a therapist that has experience working alone at times or is confident enough to do so when asked to.  We have a 67 bed facility including : ICU, ER, Med Surg. (No L&D services)
  • Part Time Position (24 hrs. per week)
