Full Time

The Department Director is a professional associate who maintains the management function for one or more departments. The Inpatient Department Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer to the organization. The Women's & Children's Department Director manages the day-to-day function of his/her department and maintains 24-hour accountability for its function, productivity and quality. The Women's & Children's Department Director initiates and ensures the maintenance of performance improvement, staff competency, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction and staff satisfaction.

Education required: Associate Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred

Experience required: Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience

Licenses/Certificates required: Current Alabama RN license and in good standing with the Alabama Board of Nursing
