As a Pharmacist, at Merit Health Rankin, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

About The Job:

• As part of the provision of pharmaceutical care, the Pharmacist provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals consistent with ethical, legal, regulatory and professional (Pharmacy Practice) requirements.
• Reporting to the Director, the Pharmacist is responsible for the functions of Pharmacy Practice including patient profile and MAR Management, consultation and/or verification with prescribing physicians, distributive functions, accurate dispensing documentation, and supervision of the Pharmacy Technician functions.
• Position is PRN, as needed.
• Rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Our hours are 7:00-3:30 M-F and 8:00-1:30 on weekends and holidays.

Requirements: 

•  Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy D is required.  
• Hospital experience is a must- including experience with mixing IV's. 
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work weekends.
