EMT

General Summary of Duties:

The EMT-B and EMT-BA have the responsibility and accountability for assuring the delivery of quality and compassionate pre-hospital care to patients of all ages, according to the skill level certified, by using proper techniques and following standards of care established by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, MTEMS,  KCH Supervising Hospital, and the Medical Director.  

Job Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of IN Department of Homeland Security approved EMT-B or EMT-BA Course
3. Current and valid Indiana Driver’s License
4. CPR Certification
5. ACLS, PALS, BTLS or equivalent preferred (EMT-BA)
