Job Description

AllianceHealth Durant has an opening for a PRN Ultrasound Tech in our Radiology Dept!

We provide exceptional care for our patients and are looking for caring and knowledgeable team members to join us. Competitive rates and sign on bonus offered.

About the Job:

  • Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
  • Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
  • Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed. 
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.

Requirements:

  • Requires a two year allied health degree, successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology
  • 2 years of experience in the field preferred 
  • Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
