As a Cath Lab Tech, at Northwest Health, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiology required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered via ARRT  Required
• RCIS or RCES  certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiology with at least 1 years’ experience in procedural radiology setting, preferably Interventional Radiology or Cath lab
• Licensed in the State of Indiana
• Current BLS from the AHA or ARC.  ACLS within 6 months
• Full time: 40 hours per week, Call, weekend, and/or holiday rotation may be required.

About the job: 

• Preparing patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventions
• Performing common catheterization interventions including, stent placements, balloon angioplasties, heart valve replacements, and electrophysiology tests
• Operating intracardiac or intravascular ultrasound equipment, fluoroscopy equipment, or other imaging systems
• Assisting with handling venous and arterial catheters and wires
• Monitoring blood pressure and heart rate using electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) equipment during procedures including coronary angiography, pacemaker implantation, aortic stenosis studies, and patent foramen ovale closures
• Calculating hemodynamic or physiologic values, and record waveforms for patient records
• Retrieving and analyzing imaging and other data obtained during procedures
