Director of Nutrition Services

Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Director of Nutrition Services!

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, controls and supervises the daily operation of the Dietary department
• Assigns the daily workload
• Plans the staffing schedule
• Oversees the completion of the patient trays and ensures the timely delivery of patient foods
• Procures supplies needed for all aspects of the food preparation
• Ensures the delivery and appearance of foods prepared for the Cafeteria
• Oversees the completion of all catered functions and strives to ensure the quality, presentation and timeliness of meals served

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field required
• Minimum of five years hospital food service experience required
• Two years management or supervisory required
• Must have a strong background in culinary arts with experience in large volume cooking
• Current Food Handler’s Permit as required by local health Department
