Shift: Day Shift – 12 hours, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory procedures under the guidance of Physicians and the Respiratory Director, adhering to NBRC, state regulations, and departmental protocols.
• Recommend and implement respiratory care procedures and protocols based on patient assessments.
• Deliver respiratory care in acute, chronic, and emergency scenarios, including managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways.
• Preferably have experience with Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT).
• Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and provide other respiratory treatments.
• Initiate and manage oxygen therapy using devices such as high-flow nasal cannulas and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
• Maintain accurate patient care documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree with a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications.
