Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (required)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)
  • Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)

Responsibilities:

  • The Radiologic Technologist II, will be required to cover all surgical procedures in surgery and occasionally in the Special Procedures area.
  • Primary job duties involve the daily use of C-Arm’s and O-Arms and associated equipment.
  • An excellent working knowledge of this type of equipment is critical to this job role.
  • Call rotation for after-hours coverage and holiday coverage is required.
  • Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols.
  • Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department.
  • Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
