Job Description

 

This is a full time night CNL position working in the Med Surg/Tele unit at Northwest Houghton Hospital.

Our nurses work with neurologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists and other health care professionals while providing quality, patient-centered care. We provide support and compensation for stroke certification and chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration certification to further your personal growth and nursing skills. 

Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in area of practice.

Licensure:  Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

BLS Basic Cardiac & ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
