Occupational Therapist- PRN

As a Occupational Therapist , at Merit Health Wesley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

Duties Include:

• Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific occupational therapy treatment program. 
• Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment program to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner. 
• Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (occupational therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).
• Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group. 
• Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.
• Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• 1-2 years experience in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Current Occupational Therapist MS state licensure is required. 
• BLS certification is required.
• PRN-as needed must be available to work some weekends/holidays.
