Medical Assistant or LPN

Physicians Health Alliance, a member of Commonwealth Health Physician Network is looking for a fulltime Medical Assistant or LPN for our busy obstetrical office in Scranton. This candidate will administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.  

LPN Requirements:

• Current license to practice professional nursing issued by the state of Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in a physician’s office or clinic setting preferred.
• Maintain a current and valid driver’s license

Medical Assistant Requirements: 

• Proof of completion of Medical Assistant program and/or successful completion of a Medical Assistant Certification Exam preferred.
• CPR Certification
