Radiologic Student Technologist

Are you currently enrolled in your second year of your accredited radiologic program and are looking for some additional experience? Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting? Are you an excellent communicator who is able to think outside the box and always be at the top of your game? If so, consider joining the team as a Student Radiologic Technologist at Northwest Medical - Bentonville Hospital!

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Reviewing and evaluating developed x-rays, video tape, or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes
• Operating and overseeing operation of radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist
• Using radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff
• Positioning imaging equipment and adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination
• Explaining procedures and observing patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

• Temporary Arkansas State Licensure
• Current American Heart association BLS certification
