Radiology Extern

Northwest Health Porter is looking for a Radiology Extern Student to join our team!

Job Summary:

Assist in arranging patients for radiological examinations. Assist in producing radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision at all times. Typically reports to a rad technologist or manager. Enrolled in a Radiology program from an accredited program.

Education: In the first or second year of an accredited JRCERT accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent, Ultrasound, MRI, CT.

Certifications/Experience:

• Enrolled in a school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Limited licensed by the State of Indiana as a student in an accredited program.
• BLS required
