Job Description

The orientation, training and working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. Overtime may be needed from time to time but rarely.

This position is remote. 

The Programmer - Analytics position will be responsible for developing, testing, and documenting programming systems, as well as collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient data processing and reporting. They will also have a strong understanding of programming languages and database systems, with the ability to analyze requirements and implement effective solutions.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

(List in order of importance or percentage of time spent on the particular responsibility – High to Low)

 Develop and modify programming systems based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring efficient functionality and performance (30%)

Create and execute queries to extract, analyze, and interpret data, generating standard and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making processes (25%)

Collaborate with team members to support daily workload, troubleshoot issues, and address ad-hoc requests in a timely manner (15%)

Provide technical assistance to end users, including training on report utilization and collaboration on report updates and modifications (10%)

Offer analytical support and recommendations throughout SSC, Facility, and Company-wide projects, contributing to project success and completion (10%)

Maintain accurate documentation of programming development and revisions, ensuring comprehensive records for future reference (5%)

Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, attending workshops and pursuing continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge (5%)

Qualifications

Required Education: High school diploma or GED required

Required Experience: One (1) year hospital/healthcare experience or insurance operations.

Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience in healthcare accounting or business office

Required License/Registration/Certification: None

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate; Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 5.7 Database Administrator; Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals; CompTIA Security +; Professional Cloud Developer; Visual Studio Essentials; Certified Microsoft Excel Certification, CCL Certification

Computer Skills Required: Proficient in reading and writing in any of the following: VBA, SQL, C+, Python
