Participates in recruitment of new graduate nurses and ongoing education efforts for licensed nursing staff. Prioritizes connection with new hire nurses from orientation/onboarding throughout their first year as a nurse. Coordinates individual meetings with new hire nurses at regularly established intervals. Offers counseling and support to new hire nurses. Assists with the education and growth of individual nurses and achievement of their personal and professional goals. Focuses on effective retention of quality nurses.  Develops, implements, and evaluates socialization and engagement strategies to foster a sense of belonging and community amongst new hire nurses. Manages Nurse Apprenticeship program.
