In addition, the women’s program has received a state recognition for being named Best in Babies and BCBS Blue Distinction Award for Women’s Services. The hospital offers a range of health care services, including a 7,000 square-foot, 24-hour emergency care unit.
POSITION PURPOSE | |||||||||||
The Director will be responsible for planning and management of the patient care services of the Emergency Department (ED). To provide leadership in the practice of nursing, emphasizing quality patient care, education, and research. To assist in coordination between administration and patient care activities consistent with Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland and Community Health Systems’ mission and goal statements. | |||||||||||
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS | |||||||||||
Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or appropriate certification preferred or progressive experience with school enrollment in a bachelor's degree program. | |||||||||||
Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital ER setting and minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience preferred. | |||||||||||
Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross). ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of assignment to the Emergency Department Director, if not current upon hire. |
