Job Opportunity: Nightshift Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shifts: 12-Hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM
Incentives: $10,000 Student Loan Repayment

Are you a passionate Registered Respiratory Therapist looking to make a difference? What We’re Looking For:

• Credentials: Must hold NBRC RRT or CRT certification (RRT eligible candidates are welcome).
• Licensure: Active license from the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy (ASBRT).
• Experience: At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory care.
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory procedures according to NBRC standards, state regulations, and departmental policies under the guidance of physicians and the Respiratory Director.
• Assess patients and recommend appropriate respiratory care procedures based on observed conditions.
• Provide critical respiratory care in acute, chronic, and emergency situations, managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways.
• Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and deliver other respiratory treatments.
• Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy using devices such as high-flow nasal cannula and non-invasive ventilation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care as per established policies.
